Privacy Policy And Personal Data Protection

The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, with its registered office at 15/17 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, 00-071 Warsaw, is committed to protecting the users' privacy and the security of processing their personal data, and applies suitable technological solutions to prevent third parties from interfering with the users' privacy. Personal data of users included in the contact forms are processed in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), as well as the Act of 18 July 2002 on Providing Services by Electronic Means (Journal of Laws 2017, item 1219, as amended). Users have the right to access, rectify, restrict the processing or delete their personal data. If the user has granted their consent to the processing of personal data, they have the right to withdraw it at any time.

The personal data of the contact form user shall be processed at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage only for the purpose of continuing communication with them (see details below).

The website of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage uses the mechanism of so-called cookies, i.e. text files stored on the user's computer. The cookie mechanism is not designed to gather any information about individual users and is used to save users' navigation parameters and aggregate statistical data about website traffic. By drawing up statistical data, we can better understand how the users use our website, thus enabling us to improve both their structure and content.

Detailed information on personal data protection:

  1. Personal data shall be processed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage with the registered office at 15/17 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, 00-071Warszawa, who is the data controller.
  2. To contact the controller's data protection officer, please use the address provided for in item 1 and the following e-mail address: abi@mkidn.gov.pl.
  3. The processing of personal data is carried out solely for the purpose of providing feedback and continuing communication with the user in response to the content entered in the contact form, based on the consent provided by the data subject. Consent to data processing is voluntary, however, without the consent, no information can be sent via the website.
  4. Personal data shall be provided only to entities duly authorized in accordance with applicable laws.
  5. Personal data shall not be transferred to third countries or international organisations.
  6. The data shall be stored until the date of withdrawal of consent or the completion of all activities related to the purpose of processing.
  7. The individual whose data are processed shall have the right to:
    • access their personal data, in accordance with Article 15 of the Regulation,
    • demand their rectification, in accordance with Article 16 of the Regulation,
    • delete or restrict their processing in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 of the Regulation,
    • object to the processing in accordance with Article 21 of the Regulation,
    • demand the transfer of data to another controller, in accordance with Article 20 of the Regulation
  8. If the processing of personal data is based on the consent given by the data subject, this consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  9. Should the personal data protection law be infringed, the individual whose data are processed has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
  10. No automated decision-making with regard to data subjects shall be envisaged.

By using the website in any way, its users hereby accept the rules contained in this Privacy Policy.

If there are any amendments to this Privacy Policy, relevant modifications to the above rules shall be made available on the website.
